three-dimensional objects and worked almost exclusively in wood. In 1985
his work evolved into Performance Art and he spent the next ten years creating wearable sculptures and performing across the United States and in Europe. Since the early 1990's, his interest in the computer as a visualization tool has taken his art in new, digital directions. |

Isaac Or |
Isaac Or, live and work in Israel, industrial designer and international rafting and river rescue expert. His experience in glass art was acquired in Seattle, (U.S.A.), a worldwide glassblowing center. His work is hand made. Each and every bead is especially designed in shape and color as part of the fusion process. Every item is unique, numbered and signed by the artist. The raw material used is Italian Murano glass form of colored bars, which is renowned for its high quality. During the process of creating the beads, the glass bar is melted at temperature of 900 degrees Celsius and wound around a thin iron rod called a «Mandrel». Once the designing stage is completed, the temperature of the bead is reduced in a controlled manner, in order to avoid internal pressure. The iron rod is then removed and thus the hole of the bead is formed.

Greg
Orduyan |
When Greg Orduyan became the Moscow Golden Gloves champion back in 1987, some wondered if the 16-year-old of Russian-Armenian decent would pursue the dream of win-ning an Olympic medal. Hardly. As someone dripping with artis-tic talent, Orduyan, who first picked up a paint brush at 3, had a much bigger dream - of coming to California and making it in the art world. I create Art from Science using Technology. My art is a reflection of my background and interest in art, materials science, computer technologies and nanotechnology and is called NANOART. I think people should know what's going on in the micro-world in order to not be afraid of all kinds of "nano-things" (nanotechnology, nanoscience, nanopowders.) that are happening right now with the new technological revolution. The ideas behind my art are the interpretations of the technological movement. Art is becoming interdisciplinary. New media are used more and more.

Izabella
Orzelski-Konikowski |
In 1998 MFA Degree from the Graduate School of Figurative Art, New York Academy of Art, New York. Shortly after, I came back to my hometown Edmonton, Canada where I am pursuing my artistic career. As a painter, my preference lies in oil painting techniques above all others. In my opinion no other paint gives an artist such infinite possibilities in variation of colors and tones, hence enabling a fairly realistic depiction of human body. I strongly believe that despite the broad use of modern photo techniques to depict human body, figurative painting will never loose it's attractiveness or it's soul for the contemporary public.

Kathy
Ostman-Magnusen |
"Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii" When I was a little girl I started making paper dolls. In my eight year old mind their attire was romantic and full of all the fairy tales my mother read to me before I went to sleep at night. They came alive and I could hear them breathing. The glow of those memories has followed me to this day in the strokes of oil on canvas and the forming of clay under my fingers.

I'm a self-taught artist born in Makati Rizal, Philippines. I graduated in Feati University with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising Design. In 1989 I made my first trip to the U. S. at the invitation of a Philippine Arts Festival in Los Angeles. I was known for my portrait commissions and Landscape Paintings. I developed my own style by incorporating the style of the old master's and recent artist that influenced me, like Vincent Van Gogh, Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Diego Rivera, Juan Luna, Fernando Amorsoslo, Hans Burkhardt and Papo De Asis. The extraordinary style that I incorporated in my piece are spreading paint on a raw plywood, gluing and nailing found objects, like soda can pull tabs, old keys and gun shells.
