Dear artists! |
Luay
Dababneh |
Born in Amman,
19/11/1984 I have participated in local exhibitions as well I have my permanent exhibition @ Hang it Gallery in Amman,Sweifieh. I'm specialized in abstract art because I think that abstract art is a combination of madness and creativity - and I have a little enough of both - to make me paint what I feel, touch and see. |

Daia |
DAiA work- symbolic,
timeless is the reflectionof her soul and ours; mirror of a life's
experienceto some, an unsilvered mirror of the future to others. Her sculptures form a sweet and harmonious symphony, where human feelings - whether open, subtle or profound - are exalted. |

place whereI must join in with the choir and raisemy own voice in
celebration of ART. My most recent works have been inthe genre of "color fields and abstraction". |

Lorna Dall |
I feel truly blessed to be living in such a beautiful part of our world. The variety of Vancouver Island, from seacoast to mountain, provides a continually changing source of painting ideas. My realistic landscapes range from the panoramic view of a river valley to a close-up of a leaf floating on a pond.
Patrick Dalli |
I am 49years old.
Businessman and artist. Prefer painting the human figure and portraits. |
||

I am a classical sculptor
Mads Dam |
Mads Dam is a palindrome. I have always been photographing, on and off. Earlier I made many drawings, but I have only made one painting. Also I have spent some time writing fiction (and some music), but most of that didn't survive the test of time...A quarter of a century ago I discovered the microcomputer, and programming. In 1999 the internet arrived, and a lot of web design followed. I'm equally interested in graphics and logic. Because: I consider art an exploration of this mysterious universe (how did we end here and where would we like to go?). And, I think of science as essentially a creative act (world maps aren't discovered but created). The only thing faster than light is imagination...
Danielle |
I was born in
Paris France, and grew up among the bohemian artists of Montmatre. I spent
my time among painters, poets, musicians, and writers and the louvre.
After I arrived in the United States, I lived for a short time in Denver
Colorado, but a few years later I made New Mexico my home. My work is done
in watercolor, charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, etching and oil. If you
would like to know more about my work please e-mail me... Danielle
Danielle's pictures defy categorization. She works with ease in many art
medias and styles. Within her unique vision and command of her technique,
she has created a world of strange beauty reflecting her personal image of
women. |

Nilanjan Das |
I keep my hand in with
using watercolours and oil to colour my thoughts, but works begun on
canvas or paper are often destined to be layered into 'other' images by
the wizardry of computers. I might put one work through four or more
different processes of scanning and easel work, but the driving force remains the same ~ the idea. |

Barrie J
Davies |
The work of Barrie J Davies stems from his interest in reality and perceptions of reality, he is interested in the use of irony and hyperbole and in using materials, objects and processes in which to explore these ideas. His work hovers between something, nothing and everything. Humour also plays a large part in the production of the work, turning the world inside out to reposition the viewer. Through this use of entertainment he manages to question the whole notion of what we look for in art and also the liminal space of the art gallery.

I am a proud Canadian but equally proud of my South African heritage and believe that my roots show through in my work. I have a preference for earthenware vessels that are simple in shape and unglazed on the outside. I use a combination of oxides to produce surface coloration on the raw clay surface that is striking but not distracting.

My paintings are visionary because they refer to the spiritual & esoteric spheres . In my paintings you will find biblical & ancient references which show the immortality of the soul, visions of the next world .I intercept vibratory & spiritual messages which are thereafter seen in my works.
Daniela de
Maddalena |
Daniela de Maddalena * 1958 is active as a freelance artist. Subjects With the exception of an excursion into landscape painting (Tuscany), people have been the main subject of her work: studies of individuals in their own context, and studies of groups and crowds. The uniform collection of spectators at football matches, of audiences at concerts, of people in swimming pools and people at domestic sporting events arouses distaste and fascinates at the same time. Such situations lead to the isolation of the individual in the collective mass.

Mike was born in 1941 and has always been keen on art from an early age. He passed a scholarship at the age of 11 yrs to go to the Nottingham School of Art but decided by the age of 15 yrs not to make it his career. Instead he entered the engineering profession, studied electronics and became a design engineer. In September 1000 he retired early due to ill health; it was the ideal time for him to take up his passion. Though Mike painted in oils many years ago, his medium now is mainly watercolour and occasional pen and ink.

Lenda
Dewyer |
Lenda started working in glass March 1001. She didn't realize how much she would fall in love with this new medium. Always dabbling in some form of art and craft, Lenda learned some beginning techniques from a book, just like she learned her other forms of art. With determination and tenacity, she learned to melt glass in a torch and form wonderful focal glass beads. From that, she has also taken up jewelry making using her glass beads. Molten glass and the flame of the torch are her calling now and will be for a long time to come.

I made 21 solo exhibitions in Argentina. Some artworks have a creative originality. Since 1999, I have been experimenting with the idea of lighting the artwork from behind. I use oil paint on resin or acrylic sheets to create the support of «luminous» boxes or backlights, which I then exhibit in groups like installations.

Digital Art |

Oscar Durand |
Upon viewing his first painting by Rembrandt, Oscar Durand experienced a compelling awakening of his God-given talent: he knew instantly that his life's vocation would be painting in that style, even though he was just 14 years of age. Throughout Oscar Durand's artistic career, there have been many other additional influences. A methodology called «Chiaroscuro» first introduced by Caravaggio (1571-1610), dramatically uses a single, strong source of light to emphasize a painting's center of interest. Oscar frequently employs the chiaroscuro technique to intensify the vibrancy of his paintings.
